Peleg’s career is a masterclass in technical evolution, bridging the gap between hands-on mechanics and high-level software development.
- Credentials: He holds a Bsc.Eng. in Materials Engineering from Ben Gurion University and is Ignition Core + Gold certified.
- The journey: Peleg began his career as an Aircraft Mechanic at Arkia and IAI. After his studies, he transitioned into Automation Engineering, where he mastered the lifecycle of production and development.
- Current impact: Now a Developer for Contel Smart Energy, Peleg was instrumental in building the Energynieโข system. He is the team’s go-to expert for troubleshooting the Ignition by Inductive Automation’s ecosystem and connectivity.

Peleg led the development of customized Energynie interfaces designed to simplify the operation of one of the company’s most complex new energy solutions, BTM. Working closely with engineering, development, and product teams, he helped transform the integration of PV, BESS, and site loads into an intuitive and intelligent energy management experience that keeps critical facilities optimized and resilient- even during grid outages.

- The origin story: His first job was in an HP fabrication lab as a teenager, working three summers to save for an Xbox, a lesson in the true value of hard work.

- Superpower wish: Flight, to explore the sky and perhaps utilize his apartment roof as extra floor space.
