This week, weโre spotlighting Nitzan Levy, a man with electricity truly flowing through his veins. From his early days as an electricianโs assistant to managing high-tech energy projects today, Nitzanโs career has been one big “spark” of innovation.

Nitzan is a certified Electrical Practical Engineer (Tel Hai College) with expertise in Siemens, ABB, and Unitronics systems. After optimizing production lines at ThermoFisher, he now serves as our Project Engineer, bridging the gap between IT and development to ensure peak site efficiency.

Nitzan recently delivered the Kibbutz Yinon and Kibbutz Brur Hail energy PV+ storage (Hybrid) projects (approximately 25 MWh each). Along with the project execution and among his other tasks, in order to prevent data loss during power outages, he implemented an innovative solution combining a self-powered data logger: meteorological stations and controllers are being backed up by a self-powered dedicated solar panel and batteries. This ensures 100% data continuity for customers like EDF, even if the grid fails.
