This week was a great illustration of the flexibility and versatility of the Contel Smart teams.
While some of our newest team members were out in the field in Israel, getting hands-on experience at live energy sites in the Otef Aza region, another part of the Contel Smart team was on site in Romania, contributing to one of the country’s largest hybrid renewable energy projects.
In Holit and Kibbutz Be’eri, our new colleagues saw first-hand how the technologies they work with come together in real-world environments, from hybrid PV + storage and cybersecurity to Behind-the-Meter energy management.
They also had the opportunity to learn directly from experienced Contel engineers, bridging software, engineering and field expertise.
Meanwhile, in Parau, Romania, our team is working with Econergy Ltd. and BLEnergy on a landmark project combining approximately 350 MWp of solar PV with 150 MWh of battery storage. Contel Smart Energy is contributing the control, monitoring and management solutions for the site’s battery energy storage system (BESS), covering the batteries and inverters. Our technology is being added to the site’s existing solar PV infrastructure, helping transform it into a hybrid renewable energy site and supporting the efficient integration of large-scale energy storage.
What connects these two very different activities is our ability to adapt, learn and deliver, from the field to the control room, and from Israel to international markets.
That versatility is one of Contel Smart’s greatest strengths: combining deep engineering expertise, advanced technology and people who are willing to put all the efforts required, wherever the challenge is.
Proud of the teams who make it happen and of the knowledge-sharing culture that keeps us moving forward.
