Extending existing CSP Project with PV+Storage

This project has always been a crown jewel of Israel’s renewable infrastructure, proving that CSP technology and molten salt storage could deliver stable, clean energy long after the sun went down. Now, the companies owning the project are taking that foundation further: integrating large-scale PV generation and nearly 460 MWh of BESS storage alongside the existing facility, increasing total capacity to 150 MW.

This hybrid model of combining CSP+ PV+BESS is what utility-scale optimization looks like.
