We are proud to be part of a landmark renewable energy project in Parau, Romania, developed by Econergy Ltd., combining approximately 350 MWp of solar PV with 150 MWh of battery energy storage #BESS.
Together with our valued partner BLEnergy, Contel Smart Energy is contributing the control, monitoring and management solutions for the site’s battery energy storage system (BESS), covering the batteries and inverters. We’re adding our technology to the site’s existing solar PV infrastructure, turning it into a hybrid renewable energy site and supporting the efficient integration of large-scale energy storage.
Once completed, the project is expected to become the largest hybrid renewable energy site in Romania, representing a significant step forward in the country’s transition toward a more flexible and resilient power system.
Our solutions are designed to transfer the relevant data in accordance with the technical requirements of Romania’s TSO, in alignment with ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, supporting the reliable integration of the energy storage system into the grid.
